The Afghanistan Introductory Teacher Professional Development Program is a practical educational course designed to strengthen teachers’ knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes. The course introduces teachers to the fundamental concepts of effective teaching and helps them create better, more active, and student-centered learning experiences that reflect the realities of schools and classrooms in Afghanistan. The course is organized into six lessons and covers classroom management and leadership, modern teaching methods, the purposeful use of educational technology, instructional design, learning assessment, and classroom action research.
